Child’s: Name, Age, Medical Conditions, Taken part in Judo before, Member of the British Judo Association, Membership Number, and Grade.
Parent’s: Email, Phone Number, Postal Address, Next of Kin
Participants: Name, Age, Medical Conditions, Member of the British Judo Association, Membership Number, Grade and if taken part in Judo before.
Parent’s (if under 16): Email, Phone Number, Postal Address, Next of Kin
Participant: Name, Age, Class, Address, Email, Emergency Contact Name, Medical Information and Phone Number.

Why we collect this information
Name: We need to add the child’s name to the class register.
Age: The child must be at least 5 years old to take part in our Judo classes and confirms the child is on the correct class.
Medical Conditions: To ensure the participant receives suitable coaching and is able to safely take part in the sport.
Taken part in Judo before: This informs on what questions we need to ask the participant.
Member of the British Judo Association: We run British Judo gradings within all of our classes and to take part children must join the association.
Membership Number: This enables us to process the child’s grading and check their insurance.
Grade: This helps us process the grading.
Email: To confirm the booking, inform you of dates, notify you of any changes to the classes and highlight any extra Judo opportunities from FFJ.
Phone Number: To contact you in case of an emergency and keep you informed of class changes.
Postal Address: This is necessary to send a British Judo Membership Package.
Next of Kin: to know who to contact in case of emergency and is a requirement from British Judo membership package.

Send you information regarding the classes or activities the participant has enrolled for.
Send you information about re-enrolment.
Send you information about extra Judo opportunities run or held by Fighting Fitness Judo.
Send you information about extra Judo opportunities run by external Judo providers.
Send you information about relevant Fighting Fitness Judo social media, Youtube Videos and Blogs.
Sharing and Holding Information
Fighting Fitness Judo may share information with the British Judo Association to allow them to process the membership and gradings that are necessary for the purpose of legitimate interests: The information will not be shared with any third parties.
Fighting Fitness Judo coaches have access to information which directly affect the classes and activities they are running.
Your information is collected and stored through ‘NEST’ their full privacy statement and GDPR compliance can be found here: https://www.nestmanagement.co.uk/privacy-policy/. Fighting Fitness Judo holds relevant information obtained from a participant on password-protected google drive account which can only be accessed online. This information is held to ensure Fighting Fitness Judo can provide a professional service to its members and to easily obtain registers for classes.
Personal information is deleted from our google drive once the participant informs Fighting Fitness Judo that they do not wish to continue with our classes (club or school) or after failing to enrol for two months/terms (club/school respectively).
Access to your information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email the office email@example.com with the title ‘Data Access Request’.
