Fighting Fitness Judo and more importantly the coaches have been a massive positive for me in my teenage years. 

With the help of them I have become National champion, represented GB in the u18 European Championships and trained in Japan as part of the GB Futures program. 

Fighting Fitness Judo is more than just a club. I am now studying Economics at Nottingham Uni and Head coach Vince is always at the end of the phone ready to help if I need it.

The Junior program focusses on self defence skills, physical fitness and improving self worth and self confidence. 

We know it can be tough to get teenagers to interact with anything, through positive reinforcement and setting winnable goals, we allow our juniors to develop their self confidence and worth. These personal traits will be vital skills as they move into adult hood. 

 

Judo is a physical sport involving learning how to throw, fall and defend ourselves when we are on the floor. These physical skills help us develop respect for ourselves and others. Participants understand that these skills are only to be used in the dojo.
